Our licensed RT checks the home ventilator, confirms that settings match the physician's prescription, and explains the parts to the patient and caregiver. Regular visits focus on equipment and tolerance within the care plan, with concerns escalated to the physician.
Physician-directed weaning support
Weaning is something your physician has already ordered, and it happens on their schedule. Our RT supports that plan during agreed visits and reports back to the physician. The RT does not independently start or decide the weaning plan.
High-flow nasal cannula therapy
