Your CPAP, set up at home by licensed respiratory therapists
Not a box on your doorstep. Licensed respiratory therapists deliver, fit, and explain your machine in person, then check in after.
Respyre sends licensed respiratory therapists to your home to deliver your CPAP or BiPAP machine, fit and adjust your mask, and explain the comfort settings you actually feel every night. If your doctor's pressure setting ever needs to change, our RTs loop the doctor in first. Our RTs check in after, so you are never left to figure out a new machine alone.
Why a home visit matters more than a box on your doorstep
Buying a CPAP online usually means a courier hands you a sealed box and disappears. You are left to unbox a medical device, guess at the mask size, and hope it is working. A wrong mask fit, an unexplained pressure setting, or an uncomfortable first night is often what makes someone give up on treatment, not a bad machine.
A Respyre home visit closes that gap. Instead of a box, a qualified professional walks in the door, and by the time they leave, the machine is running, the mask fits, and you know what to do if something feels off.
Who shows up at your door
Your Respyre home setup is done by our licensed respiratory therapists, not delivery riders or sales representatives reading a script. Our RTs work within their professional scope: they deliver and set up the device, program the exact pressure your doctor ordered, fit and re-fit the mask to the person who will actually wear it, tune the comfort settings you feel most (ramp time, humidification, hose temperature, exhalation relief), and teach the household how to use, clean, and troubleshoot it. If a doctor's pressure setting turns out not to be working, our RTs flag it and the doctor makes the call. The original diagnosis and the initial prescription always stay with the referring physician; our RTs' role starts after that. See our RTs for credential information.
What actually happens during the visit
- Before the visit. We confirm the model, mask size where known, and the address and best time. If a doctor already prescribed a pressure setting, we bring that on file.
- Delivery and setup. The RT brings the machine, connects it, and runs it through its first cycle in front of you, in the room where it will actually be used at night.
- Mask fitting. The RT tries different mask sizes and styles on the person who will wear it, not a generic sizing chart, and adjusts the straps until it seals without pressing.
- Walkthrough. The RT explains the machine's settings in plain language: how to turn it on, how ramp works, how to read the humidifier level, and what each light or alert means.
- Pressure check. Our RTs program the exact pressure your doctor ordered and verify it is delivering correctly. If it is ever not working for you, our RTs contact your doctor directly, usually by phone, and adjust only once the doctor confirms; no new written prescription is needed for that call.
- Cleaning and maintenance. The RT shows how to clean the mask and tubing and how often, so the machine stays hygienic between visits.
- Follow-up. We check in after the first nights to see how the fit and pressure are holding up, and we are reachable if something needs adjusting.
What this replaces
Buying online and setting up alone usually means guessing a mask size from a photo, following a printed manual, and only finding out something is wrong once it already feels unbearable. A home visit means a professional catches the small things, a strap too tight, a pressure that feels wrong, a hose kinked under the pillow, before they become a reason to give up on treatment.
Where this fits in the Respyre care bundle
Home RT setup is part of every machine we deliver, alongside delivery, warranty support, and after-sales follow-up. See the full menu on our home respiratory care services page, or our CPAP price guide for what a machine plus setup typically costs.
We run this same visit across Metro Manila and Cavite, including BGC and Taguig and Alabang and Muntinlupa.
Frequently asked questions
Licensed respiratory therapists come to your home in person. They set up the machine, fit the mask to the person who will wear it, and walk the household through using it, rather than leaving a boxed device at the door.
Yes. Respyre's home setup is done by licensed respiratory therapists working within their professional scope, not by delivery staff or sales representatives.
Not on their own. Our RTs set your machine to exactly what your doctor ordered, and can fit and adjust your mask, tune comfort settings, and troubleshoot without calling anyone. If the pressure itself ever needs to change, our RTs contact your doctor directly, usually by phone, and only adjust once the doctor confirms. A new written prescription is not required for that, but the doctor always decides.
Reach out and we can talk through what is possible. Our home setup is built around the machines and care bundles we deliver.
It varies by household and machine, but the visit covers delivery, setup, mask fitting, a full walkthrough, and time for your questions before the RT leaves.
Follow-up is part of the visit, not a separate charge. If the mask fit, pressure, or comfort still needs work after the first nights, reach out and we will help you adjust it.
Yes, an initial diagnosis and prescription from a physician comes first. Our RTs' role begins after that: setup, mask fitting, comfort-setting adjustments, and education. If the pressure itself ever needs to change, our RTs loop your doctor back in, usually just a phone call, before anything is adjusted.
